They are currently in China after flying to Japan for an overseas cruise. I am SO thankful that their ship was not anywhere near where the tsunami hit and not on land in Japan when the earthquake rocked Tokyo!
I am still waiting for more details of their trip and getting a flight back to the U.S. but she has assured me they are safe.

As much as I would like to post pictures of fluffy pretties and such - I must pause to recognize this tragedy, to ask for others to pray and also give thanks for those that were spared and protected.

I am so glad that your friends are safe. Yes, this has been an awful tragedy and I am praying for all concerned. I feel so much sorrow for the people who have lost families and homes and their very security and peace of mind.

i also want to thank you for your sweet kind words you left me on my post a while back about my uncle...sorry that it has taken me this long to get back to you...little did i know,then, that i would be mourning another family member's death the next week....
i do hope you are doing ok, these days...i also noticed that you had left a comment linda's last post...i am curious about the swap, but i have to admit that i'm not sure if i feel up to joining a swap at this time...
are you thinking about joining her swap?? or maybe i should ask that after she tells us what the details are... :)
