Just A Few Short Days

In just a few short days I'll begin posting pictures of the 25 Christmas matchboxes I received.  Kicking off the Countdown to Christmas Swap!  I can't believe it's here already!   I am so glad to be a part of this swap, my very first one.   It's been fun and I have generated a lot of interest from my family and friends.
They all think it's a unique and terrific idea!  I hope you all will follow along and visit the other participants blogs as well!

  1. Dear Angela....I opened my boxes ahead of time so I could photograph them and schedule them for posting in advance. I am so afraid I will forget one if I get busy. Your box # 5 with the little red reindeer on that red and white striped paper is so precious , and the “merry christmas” paper inside fits perfectly. The Santa’s List bottle cap magnet you made me is just the cutest thing ever....you are so clever. The photo of your box will post on Dec. 5th for the 6th, and I have included a link to your blog with it. Again....thank you so very much....Genie

  3. Thanks for the lovely comment you left on my blog about my matchboxes. I haven't received my matchboxes yet (I'm in the UK) so don't know if I've been lucky enough or not to receive one of yours! I'll let you know if I do! I bought a baking tray today (thin metal sheet) and hope to decorate it before my boxes arrive so I can attach them to it (by magnets). Have fun with yours too xx

  4. hey angela,

how are you? really hope you had a nice Thanksgiving! I know you must have been so excited to finally see your package their in your hands!! so, have you decided where you are going to display your matchboxes? I'm still not sure exactly how I am going to hang them yet...
been helping my M-I-L and F-I-L put up the 12 ft Christmas tree over the weekend....well, actually, I didn't have to bring up the tree from the basement or put it together...I just helped with the fluffing of the trees and bows and putting the ornaments on the tree...there are still lots of boxes upstairs that my M-I-L has filled with Christmas decorations for the rest of the house...haven't even started decorating our area yet...:)

i'm still waiting to give you a proper thank you when i post your matchbox on Dec.7...I still haven't uncovered your matchbox yet!! :)

hope you have a wonderful day!
